Larry Jarrett-Kerr photographed up-and-coming winemaker Tom Jones who left corporate life in London behind to delve into the world of winemaking in East Sussex. Tom tells Dressed in the Dark why he wanted to get outdoors, what’s good about the South-East countryside and that English sparkling wine is the next big thing. Traditional tattooists generally hate ‘scratchers’, urban-speak for inexperienced, untrained and untalented tattoo artists. John Washington is technically a scratcher, running out of space on his own thighs as he practices his art. But, John’s talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. Football may be a beautiful game, the most popular sport on the planet and the life of millions upon billions of folk, but do you care? For a surprising number of people the answer is still a resounding “no”. But with the World Cup fast approaching it will becoming increasingly difficult to remain a non-believer. On such short notice, learning to like the sport is entirely too much of a chore. It’s preferable instead to cheat your way through the tournament, staying alive and social throughout one of sport’s most intense, action-packed months.
