Today’s film of interest is a critically acclaimed short from Canada – quite likely a better use of your time than Lady Gaga’s 9-minute Alejandro video.
Written & Directed by: Simon Olivier Fecteau
Starring: Simon Olivier Fecteau & Pierre Collin
Synopsis: A technician discovers a thrilling and mind-boggling, if overwhelming, obsession when he visits an old man and discovers more than a ‘broken’ television.
Verdict: A film rooted in humour, optimism and surrealism, the film is well-written, shot and acted. And the message is not half-bad either. All in all, it gets you thinking while making you smile.
